With 218 signatures from members of the House, Discharge Petition No. 25 would force a floor vote on the American Dream and Promise Act (H.R. 1589).  It currently has 217. The bill would provide a path to citizenship for Dreamers, who were brought to the U.S. as children, as well as recipients of Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The bill impacts over 5 million long-term residents, students, workers, and taxpayers who currently live under the threat of changing administrative or judicial rulings.
